Why we write
Every piece is a piece of the soul. Taken from life to give life. Taken, yes, but doing so does not diminish the source but rather makes it ever richer and vibrant.
Every piece is a child, like Pallas Athena, sprung forth from the forehead, fully formed and armed to the teeth. Ready to take on the challenges of the world, to change minds, to touch lives.
Every piece is a song. Each letter a note, each word an instrument, a paragraph is an orchestra. It is a melody of meaning and ink. What soul does not soar and dip with such wondrous tunes?
Be it poem or prose, whether in rhyme and measure, grammatically fine, syntactically perfect, we write because, just because.
